Our Story

Some of RCB’s flagship projects are:

1. Rotary Bangalore Vidyalaya – located at Nagadevanahalli, is a highly-subsidized, English and Kannada medium school with 350+ students, from Class 1 to 10, coming from the lower economic strata. The school has a Science and Computer Labs, and RCB provides free uniforms, books and midday meals.
 

2. Primary Education – built 40 green field schools in rural areas, refurbished 110 Government Schools and 60 Anganwadis, with water plants, girls’ toilets, benches, etc., benefitting 25,000+ students.
 

3. Ongoing Education – providing scholarships to deserving, but un-affording students by partnering with leading Trusts like Zenith Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation and RV Trust.
 

4. Blood Bank – We run the Rotary TTK Blood Bank at Indiranagar – which is also a centre for Stem Cell Registry.
 

5. Attavar Memorial Hospital – provides free medical assistance to 800+ patients a month, from rural Bengaluru.
 

6. Dialysis facilities – started the Rajarajeswari Nagar Dialysis Centre in 2011, where we have installed 21 dialysis machines.
 

7. Vaccination – conducted drives to administer over 5,000 doses.
 

8. Economic Well Being – built a training centre for 750 destitute inmates of Auto Raja’s Home of Hope in Bengaluru.
 

9. Environment – In addition to regular participation in Tree Plantation drives & Lake Rejuvenation, we are focused on the Palar River Rejuvenation plan and are working, along with the Art of Living Foundation, at Kaiwara to support 6 villages for overall development.
